You weren’t allowed to use the onsite parking even though there were spaces

Breakfast was great. A good choice offered to us, with flexible options.

Lighting in bathroom very poor so couldn't see to do make-up. Mirror in bedroom difficult to get to (above mantelpiece at side of bed) and dressing table mirror too low. Oat milk at breakfast a bit curled.

Lovely traditional pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were all friendly, food very good and the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed provided.

If I had to find a negative I’d probably say the rooms are not very accessible for less able people, but then what do you expect for an old traditional building!
